Demokrasiyi eleştirenler derler ki: "Çoban sürünün karşısına geçer, ‘Aziz koyunlar, muhterem koyunlar; şu yamacı aşmamız lazım. Yokuş çıkma zahmetine katlanırsanız yamacı daha çabuk aşarız. Yok eğer geze eğlene gidelim derseniz, daha geç gideriz. Siz nasıl isterseniz öyle yaparız’ der ve halk ne derse o olur. Demokrasi budur".
Demokrasiden yana olanlar;
1. Safça demokrasiye inananlardan,
2. Demokrasi denizinde gemisini yüzdüren ya da yüzdürmek isteyen kaptanlardan ve kaptan adaylarından oluşur.
Bunlar, inansalar da inanmasalar da "Halkın sesi Hakkın sesidir" derler. Gerçekten halkın sesi Hakkın sesi midir? İnsanların sayısı çoğaldıkça; daha iyi, daha doğru düşünme ve karar verme yetenekleri arttığı için mi demokrasi en iyi yönetim biçimidir?
Londra kaynaklı bir haber 18 Şubat 2008 günlü gazetelerde, kazın ayağının öyle olmadığını kanıtladı. Leeds Üniversitesinde yapılan bir araştırmada; insan kalabalıklarıyla göçmen kuş ya da koyun sürülerinin aynı davranışlarda bulundukları saptanmış.
Buna göre, "% 100′lük bir kitledeki % 5′lik bir azınlık; geri kalan % 95′lik çoğunluğu, çoğunluğa farkettirmeden istediği yönde etkileyebilir".
Hani halkın sesi, Hakkın sesiydi? Demokrasi aslında, halkın sırtını sıvazlayarak suları bulandırmak ve bulanık suda balık avlamak mıdır?
Demokrasinin 4 basamaklı merdiveninin;
1. Basamağında seçmenlerin % 100′ü,
2. Basamağında, seçmenlerin % 5′i olan partililer,
3. Basamağında, partililerin % 100′nün % 5′i oranında parti yönetim kadroları,
4. Son basamakta, parti yönetim kadrolarına şirin görünen tek lider, yani parti Genel Başkanı yer almaktadır.

Clarance Darrow, "Ceza avukatının esas işi, jürinin müvekkilinden hoşlanmasını sağlamaktır" diyordu. Nitekim yapılan araştırmalarda, aynı suçlarla itham edilen sanıklardan yakışıklı olanların belirgin biçimde daha az ceza aldıkları saptandı. Çekici sanıkların, çekici olmayanlara oranla ceza almadan kurtulma şansları 2 kat fazlaydı.
Kanada’da yapılan federal seçimlerde, çekici görünümlü adayların çekici olmayanlara oranla; 2,5 kat fazla oy aldıkları saptandı.

| Want to decorate your document with pictures & images? Insert pictures and images in your Zoho Writer documents as you would in a normal word processor. Pull and place pictures both from your desktop as well as from the web.
See how the image/picture looks like using ‘Image Preview’. Shrink to fit in case the image/pic is of larger size. And set properties for the inserted pic/image like border, spacing as well. |

Get the best of both worlds. Tags are the new folders. Not sure whether you want to put a document in the Sales or Marketing folder? That’s where tags-as-folders come in. Make the document available in both the folders! Now, isn’t that handy?

Post to your blog
Being on the web, you can post to your blog from within Zoho Writer. As you have seen above, Zoho Writer’s WYSIWYG editor is more feature-rich than a typical blog editor’s. Be it Blogger.com, WordPress.com, Livejournal, Typepad or any blog that supports metaWeblog API, you can make the post from Zoho Writer. You can add tags and make the post optionally as a draft as well!

Add inline comments to particular paragraphs /sentences of a document. You & your friends (or your team members & your boss) canadd comments in a document you are collaborating on. Adding contextual comments is very useful for reviewing purposes. And this comes in handy for journalists/editors & teachers/students, in particular.
